Anatomy Teaching Team
If teamwork makes the dream work, then I am living the dream. I am part of two teaching teams at the UW SVM. In the fall, I team-teach the Fundamental Principles of Veterinary Anatomy and in the spring, I team-teach the Anatomy of Large Domestic Animals. The instructional adeptness this team generates stems from our differences, and is dependent upon mutual trust and respect. As individuals, we have different teaching styles, strengths, knowledge, and backgrounds, and we supply varying energy levels and intensities. We encourage one another to show up as our authentic selves, and embrace what we collectively bring to the table. Each of us supplies a lot of power, experience, and wisdom. When we challenge one another and find compromise our finest work manifests. The sum of our parts is greater than the whole. It is an honor working with and learning from my colleagues.
